Ambulance

State of the art ambulances are licensed for Basic Life Support and provide scheduled nonemergency transportation to medical appointments such as dialysis, discharges and tests that must be conducted in a hospital or clinic for patients that cannot sit up in a wheelchair.

All ambulances are licensed and inspected by the Ohio Medical Transportation Board.

Each ambulance:

Is under the medical direction of a local physician who practices emergency medicine
Is fully stocked according to regulations and protocol
Is staffed by two Emergency Medical Technicians
Is equipped with a fully-maintained defibrillator
